The authors would like to point out the following errors that appeared in this paper. The names of the alleles at positions 31118 (rs1761667) and 30294 (rs1049673) were inadvertently switched throughout the text, tables and figures. Wherever the paper reads G at 31118, it should be read as A and vice versa. Wherever the paper reads G at 30294, it should be read as C and vice versa. Thus, the haplotype associated with high FFA (Fig. 2) and coronary artery disease (Table 5) is AAGIC rather than AGGIG, as indicated in the paper.
