Calpain 3 participates in sarcomere remodeling by acting upstream of the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway
Human Molecular Genetics (2005) 14(15) 21252134; doi:10.1093/hmg/ddi217
While the major findings of the paper are unchanged, the authors would like to retract Figure 5C and the methods that accompany this figure (i.e. "Isolation of Ubiquitinated Proteins"). The authors would like to be clear that all other figures of this paper are still accurate, including Figures 5 A-B. It is only Figure 5C that is being retracted. Experiments from their lab, done subsequent to the publishing of this paper, have shown that the method to purify ubiquitinated proteins is unreliable.
