Cover: RNA in situ hybridization using transgenic HSP70 mouse cerebellum shows high levels of rat iHSP70 expression in cerebellar Purkinje cells. This elevated level of expression occurs without any apparent detrimental effect on gross cerebellar morphology or function but does mitigate SCA1 pathological and behavioral phenotypes.
