About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover: Light microscopic localization of dysbindin-1 in hippocampal field CA1 of a DBA/2J mouse using antibody PA3111A. Immunoreactivity is seen in pyramidal neurons, especially their long apical dendrites, and in surrounding neuropil. Electron microscopic study of the same tissue shows that the immunoreactivity is primarily localized on microtubules in the apical dendrites, in postsynaptic densities of dendritic spines, and on synaptic vesicles within axon terminals probably derived from CA3. See Talbot et al., pp. 3041-3054, this issue, for further information.
