Cover: The cover figure shows a PtK2 cell transiently transfected with a myc-tagged filaminopathy-associated mutant filamin C variant. The cell was double-stained with antibodies specific for the myc-tag (red) and α-actinin (green). The mutant construct is found in cytoplasmic aggregates that are reminiscent of the aggregates that are observed in the skeletal muscle fibres of filaminopathy patients.
